Dear Associação Musical Suzuki de São,

As many of you may know, the Mexican Suzuki Association will be hosting the 1st. Suzuki Convention of the Americas, May 1-5, 2019, in the city of Cancun, Quintana Roo, Mexico.

Here is some of the exciting news to share about the Cancun Convention!

Teacher courses will be offered in a bilingual format, which can be registered with the SAA as Enrichment training:

• Music Reading course by Caroline Fraser: “A Natural and Joyful Approach”

• Introduction to Dalcroze by Dr. Jeremy Dittus

Also new: international level Suzuki tour groups will be featured, professional performers including Yumi Kendall, concerts, and keynote presentations are being selected to inspire all participants. The faculty of the Convention is made up of the highest level of Suzuki educators who will share their very valuable knowledge and experience with all students and teachers.  The week will be filled with experiences that will enrich our teaching and personal growth.

Most especially, the Cancun Festival experience will give us the chance to share a unique experience and make friends with peers from all over the American continents.

It will be a great honor to welcome you as part of this historical moment for the SAA, a great experience that will touch and change lives, and that the heart of every participant will grow through through musical inspiration and belief in Dr. Shinichi Suzuki’s dream: “Maybe, it is music that will save the world…”
