Hi Beth,

We have finally managed to settle the details on banking transactions between SAA and AMSBrasil. For the next shipments of scholarships, we will be able to receive the money quickly. However, for the grants of this remittance, we found the alternative of using the money that is already in Brazil, which would have been used to pay Sharon Jones in 2019, but which has not yet been paid. Pam’s proposal is viable and we will do as her suggestion:

1) We will use the money that is in Brazil, which are related to US$1,500.00;

2) Sharon issues an invoice to AMSBrasil in this amount;

3) We forward the invoice to SAA, which makes the payment to Sharon, while we distribute the money for the scholarships granted to Brazil with the money that is already in Brazil.

We appreciate all the support, and we take this opportunity to apologize for the delay in responding. Tax laws in Brazil are complicated, and information is not always clear. So we had to make decisions more slowly and carefully.

We are available for any clarification.

Sincerely,

Araceli and Fabio

Pam just informed me that we do not have the information we need to wire the funds to the Brazil Association. Can you please send me that information?

Thank you.
