When I was in Brazil offering Stage 1 training (in November 2019, prior to the online Stage 3 course), Michelle was a beautiful host to me and my daughter. I appreciate her very much and all her efforts to bring SECE to Brazil!

It sounds like a good plan with the teachers who would like to do both courses.
We would be pleased to have you host the meeting. I will be the only one who needs to be set up as a co-host, since I will be sharing the screen when needed. *Perhaps we could ask you to call out first names from your roster when it’s time for each participant to introduce themselves (near the beginning of the meeting). Also you will be able to monitor who is in attendance and if they are there for the duration and are therefore eligible to register the training with the SAA. Thank you for this offer!
So yes, the zoom invite (with the message in blue) can go out with a start time on Saturday of 12:00 EDT (1:00 Brazil time) and I will log on around 11:15 EDT.

We are happy that we were able to find a way to pay for your course. SAA has been a great partner in this proccess. I also think it´s important to mention that Michelle is an amazing person and a very careful course organizer. Surely, the payment problem was caused by the pandemic.
About the July course:
– Remaining places: we were consulted by 3 people about the possibility of taking both courses. What do you think about just notifying these 3 people that there might be vacancies, but that they will only receive a confirmation on Thursday (July 1st)? In this way, we keep registrations open until the last minute.
– Translation: good to know that it works with back and forth translation. Therefore, I am going to create a simple link in the zoom, without simultaneous translation. I will send the link in the next few days to you and all participants.
– Monitoring the course: I have a suggestion. Maybe I can host the meeting (since I will be creating the link), and co-host you, Linn, and Mariana. So, the 3 of you will have total access to all the zoom tools, including sharing screens, music, and whatever else you need. As I will be logged in as a host, I will be able to provide any support. Even logged in, I will not be watching the course (so there are not intruders… lol), but I will be available remotely. You could ask Mariana to call me on WhatsApp if you need any help with the zoom.
I’m open to doing otherwise if you like.
– Message to participants: I will translate the message you sent in blue, include the zoom link, reinforce the day, the start and end time of the course, and ask them to connect 10 minutes before the start. Just confirming: the course will start at 12:00pm EDT (1:00pm Brasilia Time).
– About a possible meeting: it really seems that everything is fine, doesn’t it? It really isn’t necessary to make a meeting another day. We can only meet on Saturday at 11:15 EDT.
