We are in need of help as much as it is urgent, because the situation needs to be resolved soon. We hope you have the time to look into it, and we sincerely apologize for filing such a last-minute request.
Teachers Priscila Egídio, Amanda de Souza Luz, Juliana Lima Verde, Luciana de Araújo Caixeta, and Poliana Alves de Oliveira have had their work approved for the Conference. Priscila is the lead author, but they will all present jointly.
They are seeking financial assistance from a government entity in order to receive transportation assistance. However, this organization requires letters of support to review the request. A letter from SAA would certainly be very welcome, as it’s an SAA event.
The problem is that the deadline is today.
It would be a simple letter, stating that the work has been approved, that the event will take place from February 25th to 28th, and that it will be very important to have the five teachers present. The project is:
Once Upon a Time, There Was a Little Star: Creative Writing as a Teaching Strategy.”
Presentation Date: Thursday, February 26th
Presentation Time: 10 AM
The letter can present the 5 names in sequence; it does not need to be a letter for each teacher.
