Hi Erin! How are you? I hope you are fine!
I think we might have a little problem. A candidate asked me why she was unable to include the audition video in the scholarship application process. Then I read more carefully to explain and came across the paragraph that explains this (Applicants must successfully pass any relevant audition requirements, etc…).
The point is that here in Latin America, the teacher trainers agree to evaluate the videos of the teachers who will take the course up to book 3 (or book 4, it depends on the instrument). This way, participants do not need to send an audition video to SAA. The obligation to send the video audition to SAA is for higher courses.

This made me think that not only this teacher who asked me “where should I include the video audition in the registration process?” might be experiencing this doubt.
It may be that there are more teachers who want to apply for a grant, but who will not be able to do so because they have not sent the audition video until now.

Until 2023, sending the video for scholarship applications could happen at this point, in which the interested teacher sends all letters of recommendation, justification, etc. But with this change this year, I fear some participants will miss the deadline.
I´m sorry I only realized this at this point.
How could we deal with this?
All the best,
Araceli
